Sunday 2nd November is a very special day for All Saints Church Fulham, it’s the nearest Sunday to our patronal festival – All Saints Day.

For the morning Eucharist service, All Saints Fulham Choir will sing a full Mass to honour the day. This year, the Choir will sing Dove’s Missa Brevis.

English composer Jonathan Dove (1959- ) writes a wide variety of music, over 20 operas including two for Channel 4 (UK), a church opera and a series of community operas. He’s also written pieces for choirs and several song-cycles.

Missa Brevis was commissioned by the Cathedral Organists’ Association. It was first sung by the Choir of Wells Cathedral in 2009. That same year, the Mass setting was sung at Chester Cathedral for their Christmas Day Worship service which was broadcast by the BBC.
