All Saints Fulham Choir will sing Eucharist in Fulham on Sunday 22 September. The Choir will give the second performance of a new anthem written by director of Music, Jonathan Wikeley.

When he is not playing or conducting Jonathan works as a freelance journalist, music arranger and editor. He is the choral editor for Novello at Music Sales Ltd.

Fear Not was written for the wedding of Edward and Kristina, two members of the Choir, who married in Summer 2013. Jonathan set the following words, taken from Isaiah 43:1-3, to music

Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name;
You are Mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
And the flame shall not consume you

The Choir will also sing the introit anthem A Prayer of King Henry VI by Henry Ley (1887-1962). The video is the Choir of King’s College, Cambridge.
