Christmas in Fulham: Fulham Palace

Fulham Palace On Friday 14 December, Fulham Palace hosts an evening of traditional Christmas Carols in their beautiful Victorian Chapel.

This year, music will be provided by the Choir of All Saints Fulham Church.

Seasonal refreshments will be served in front of the roaring fire in the Drawing Room Café. This is a very special way to celebrate the festive season.

All Saints Fulham Choir will be singing carols and anthems including Riu Riu Chiu, a Spanish song from the Renaissance period.

Ríu, ríu, chíu, la guarda ribera
Dios guardó del lobo a nuestra cordera

English translation:
Ríu, ríu, chíu, The river bank protects it;
As God kept the wolf from our Lamb.

The video is The Monkees singing Riu Riu Chiu live on a Christmas episode of their TV series, “The Monkees’ Christmas Show”.


About All Saints Fulham Choir

The All Saints Fulham Church is the home of three choirs. A traditional Parish Choir who sing wide-ranging repertoire which spans nine centuries and tours regularly at home and abroad; a Gospel Choir who sing a mixture of contemporary and traditional gospel styles, and a junior choir for children from Year 3 upwards.
