Seek Him that Maketh the Seven Stars

The men of All Saints Church Fulham Choir will be singing an anthem by English composer Edward Elgar on Sunday 21st October.

Seek him that maketh the seven stars is taken from Elgar’s oratorio The Light of Life. Elgar himself conducted its first performance at Worcester Catherdral in 1896.

It was the first oratorio that Elgar wrote and tells the story from John’s gospel of a blind man whose sight returns through faith in Jesus Christ.
