Happy Easter

To celebrate Easter, the Choir will be singing My beloved spake by English composer and conductor Patrick Hadley (1899-1973).

Hadley studied at Pembroke College, Cambridge and was taught there by Charles Wood; he was studied at the Royal College of Music under Ralph Vaughan Williams and Malcolm Sargent.

He later became a member of staff at the Royal College teaching composition and a Fellow of Gonville and Caius college, Cambridge.
