Vive La Femme: Ladies Day in Fulham

The women of the Choir led the singing at Sung Eucharist on Sunday 18th September at All Saints Fulham Church.

Gabriel Fauré

In the service the choir sang music from the French composer, Gabriel Fauré.

The women sang three works:

  • Ave Maria as an Introit
  • Agnus Dei from Messe Basse during the Eucharist Prayer
  • Tantum Ergo Op. 65, No. 2 as an anthem after Communion

The video below is of the Agnus Dei from Messe Basse

This is not the only time that music from Fauré will be sung this year at All Saints Fulham.

On Sunday 13th November, the Choir will sing Fauré’s Requiem in D minor as part of the Requiem Mass Service for Remembrance Sunday.
